It also covers glycoproteins from four more species (slime mold, snails, fish and batracians). The content of the volume is comprehensive in that most of the contributors are focussed on discussing, in-depth, the most recent advances in their fields, referring to previous reviews of older work for background information. This method produces a wide subject coverage in a smaller number of chapters.
